I will work for investment in our local public services such as health, education and police. I will stand up for our precious NHS upon which we all depend. I will work to protect and enhance our health services. I feel very strongly about the cross party-supported aim of parity of esteem between physical and mental health

I am passionate about the life chances of our young people and want to work for a society where any child can achieve their dream no matter what their background. Our local schools and colleges are where this can be achieved.

Rural communities such as those in Penrith and the Border depend heavily on local services, such as post offices, banks, ATMs, libraries, community centres and community hospitals. I will fight to defend these and retain the unique character and vitality of our local communities.
