Following the General Election, 5 out of the 6 Cumbrian Parliamentary seats returned Conservative MP’s. We all very much believe that many of the issues we face as a County should be worked through for the benefit of all. Therefore, we have resolved to meet each month to work on common issues in order to present a united voice as ‘Team Cumbria’.
Our first such meeting was with Northern Powerhouse Minister Jake Berry, discussing issues ranging from Tourism, Transport and upcoming funding schemes.
